This past weekend, we took advantage of the great weather and ventured to one of our regular spots, Descanso Gardens. When I launched this blog last Fall, I left a tab up top for “Gardens” where I could share more details and photographs of our favorite places. I am planning to make good on this project this summer — starting with Descanso.
My husband and I both like to take pictures while we’re out and about, but he usually gets the fancy camera. Yep, that leaves me with the point and shoot. I know that in my “Picture This” series (a month’s worth of photography tips and tricks), I went on and on about how great a point and shoot can be if you learn how to make the most of it. So this time, I decided to stop pouting and make the day as photographically interesting as possible. I grabbed one of the plastic cats from yesterday’s cupcake post, and decided to give her a mini photo shoot.
I call this one (above), “Snack Time.”
Ah, happy cat.
I think the cat looks right at home in this bonsai display.
It really does not take very much to keep me entertained. ;-)
