I hope you had a great weekend and a Happy 4th of July. I did not plan to disappear like that. I am just happy to say that I finished all of my sewing projects! I was stitching on the drive to my nephew’s birthday party, but hey, sometimes that’s the way it goes. My sister has been working in overdrive too, and we exchanged a deep, knowing look when I arrived at her house. I feel lucky to have someone who understands.
Today, I rewrote my to do list, entitled “The Second Half of 2010.” The list is 5 pages long, typed. In fairness, the list includes several items (such as “convert VHS tapes to DVD”) that have been on there for several years. I’d say the really critical stuff stops after page 2. After a brief period of total panic, I decided to make a second list — of accomplishments so far in 2010. Whew, I felt so much better. I have a tendency to get caught up in what’s left to do that I sometimes forget to celebrate what I have managed to get done. So cheers!
