I suggested that he buy enough Girl Scout Cookies this year that he would feel ok about letting me eat some too. 10 boxes. I think it’s time we go shopping for that elliptical machine.
Have you seen the Girl Scout stickers and albums from K & Co? I grabbed some Brownie stickers while I was at JoAnn’s.
To be honest, girl scouts was a very mixed experience for me. I didn’t make it past the brownie stage. If I remember correctly, this had something to do with the fact that I was constantly referring to the handbook and telling our leader that we were not following the instructions properly. I don’t think I was asked back the next year when everyone got the green uniforms. Come to think of it, this also happened to me with tennis lessons, but that might have been because I was an abysmal failure at tennis and not just because I was an insufferable know-it-all.
Oh, sweet childhood memories… ;-)

Care to comment? Go for it. Be bold. Do it! But niceness counts, right?
LOL. I wore the green uniform for three years (but I had really wanted to be a Brownie). I think you’re supposed to have nature adventures and learn about community service and leadership in Girl Scouts, but for me it was more of an elementary school Mean Girls experience. Hmmm…now that I think on it, that’s probably why I’ve always been indifferent to the cookies–bad associations, haha!
So, working at an elementary school you would think cookies would be everywhere, but no one has asked me to buy any!! I’m left to scouting the fronts of grocery stores, which hasn’t been successful. I need to buy 10 boxes of Samoas too! They are my favorite! :)
