U is for Umbrella

It’s interesting that the umbrella evokes such a wide range of moods. I’m drawn to all of them from melancholy to plucky optimism. U is for Unicorn
Some little girls grow up with horse fever. For me, it was unicorn fever — and it was this movie, over and over and over again. I ran across this 25th Anniversary Edition at the movie store and couldn’t resist. It’s an odd story, but it feels almost normal because it was such a part of my childhood.
To me, the unicorn represents that childlike sense of wonder and possibility, so even though I’m no longer collecting unicorn stickers I still get a little thrill when I see unicorns on clothing and pillowcases and fabric.

Care to comment? Go for it. Be bold. Do it! But niceness counts, right?
I LOVED the last unicorn! I wonder if it’s available in DVD? Hmmm…
