Today’s post (continuing the series, More to Love: A to Z, 26 Days of Alphabetic Inspiration) is brought to you by the letter F.
It’s Feast or Famine around here sometimes. There are lots of great F’s to be inspired by: faith, fervor, fierceness, flames, Fall, freedom, French… Not to mention felt and fairies.
In the end, I had to choose just three F’s:
F is for Fabric
You saw this one coming, right? The tall gray wardrobe stuffed with stacks of fabric was a sign, no?
F is for Feathers
I always like to have a few feathers around to study. They are so soft and simple, yet somehow – not.
F is for Fox Hunt
Did I lose you on this one?
I have no desire to actually hunt anything and certainly not a cute little fox, but I love the idea of getting dressed up in a red coat and riding through the forest with a pack of dogs. Better yet if we are going to stop for a tweedy picnic in the forest.
One day, I would love to throw a party with a British hunting theme. There would be lots of forest green and dark browns and pheasant feathers and brass horns and tweed and nice boots. The people I tell this to in real life do not understand. I will probably have to invite these people instead.
Of course, it would be even more fantastic if we were having a hunting party à la Marie Antoinette:
(sigh…)
Well, thanks for stopping by this week. We have G, H, I, J, and K to look forward to starting on Monday. I know these posts feel a bit disjointed (talking about bento boxes and fox hunting in the same week does seem to be a bit… unusual). However, it’s nice paying homage to what inspires us. I have a feeling I’ll be looking back at these posts often.

Care to comment? Go for it. Be bold. Do it! But niceness counts, right?
