I know this is a picture that strikes fear into a mother’s heart: the white couch. Truthfully, it strikes fear into my heart too, and I can’t even blame it on children. I am afraid to even think about dirt when walking by it.
I covered it with a blanket before I sat down. (Is that too much information?)
I know, I know. We’ve already had the “what were we thinking?” conversation.
The upside is that it looks like a giant marshmallow or maybe a cloud in Heaven. I promise a better picture of the living room once we get some art on the walls. The lighting in there is tricky right now, too.

Oh my gosh. It’s beautiful. But my heart did do a little flutter when I saw it….. and I got this sinking feeling in my stomach as a mental image of my kids crawling on the couch with shoes on came into my mind.
