Here is a little sneak peak of my glitter painting project. Martha did a whole segment on her show today about glitter painting although I sure could have used a few more tips on how not to get glitter all over your jeans. (Thank goodness my husband doesn’t ever read this. I am in so much trouble.) I think I’ll be vacuuming a lot in the next few hours.
The verdict is still out on whether or not this is kitchen wall worthy, but I am strongly leaning towards “not.” I’m sure a lot of you are thinking “you were going to put that on your wall?” Well, um, maybe. (Come on, guys. Not all of my ideas can be winners.)
I love Gingy. He’s my favorite cookie of all time, and I think he’s the perfect kitchen mascot. Plus this picture is fairly small and was going to hang in an unobtrusive spot over the sink. I don’t know why I’m apologizing about all this. It’s not like I was trying to hang this picture in your kitchen.
Ok, I seriously need to stop and go clean up this huge mess now. See you next week!
