Quilt Market Recap: Michael Miller Fabrics

Today, we are headed over to the trailer park where Michael Miller Fabrics and this little garden gnome set up camp.

GnomeonHedge

The camper theme from Michael Miller was definitely an unexpected twist – but turned out to be a lot of fun.  The entire area had grass, hedges, a camper, and a little road running down the center of the aisle.  I got my picture taken with the gnome by – get this – Kathy Miller.  It was more exciting than I care to admit, and I hope that she was so busy that she has forgotten how completely awkward I was.  Gnome, wherever you are, you are awesome.  I hope you get to have that much fun every day.

Ok, onto the booths… I think by this point in the day I was wearing out, so I ended up a little short on pictures.

Pillowandmaxfield

We will start off with Pillow & Maxfield.  Their new collection was getting a lot of great buzz at the show.  They have a sophisticated palette that I could see working for pillows, bedding, and home decor.

AndI love the cute little buttons on this dress…

I’ll be checking back in a little later with Paula Prass…

Hi Jeannie! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind comments. That pattern for the shopping bags is from designer Heather Bailey. I’m not sure when it’s coming out, but I’m sure it will show up in her web-store: http://www.heatherbaileystore.com/category-s/1.htm. I definitely want to sew some up too.

  3. What’s with the garden gnome?! Really random and made me smile :D Can’t wait to see more!
